The Red Deck is an instrumental Hip Hop beat album from The Jezter.

This debut was self released in 2004 and distributed on CD-R to friends, family, & local hip hop heads. It was also made available for free download for a couple of years.

2011 Remastering

Whilst the ideas were there in 2004, The Jezter's production skills were still being learnt. All the tracks were fairly long, often repeating loops which soon became boring. There were numerous technical issues regarding how some of the instruments sounded, also the overall EQs, mixing, mastering, etc.

This new remastered edition is how The Red Deck should sound. Each track has been shortened down to a more listen-able length. Movie samples have been removed as these disrupted the album's flow. Every sound has been looked at and modified where needed to provide a much more pleasurable listening experience. Finally the entire album has been freshly mixed and mastered to sound much more professional.
